2022 Ottawa Redblacks season

The 2022 Ottawa Redblacks season is scheduled to be the eighth season for the team in the Canadian Football League. The Redblacks will attempt to qualify for the playoffs for the first time since 2018 and improve upon their league-worst 3–11 record from 2021.[1] The team will attempt to win the second Grey Cup in Redblacks history and 11th in professional Ottawa football history.

The 2022 CFL season is scheduled to be the second season for Paul LaPolice as the team's head coach. The Redblacks will make a decision for the general manager position following the 2021 dismissal of Marcel Desjardins and the appointment of Jeremy Snyder as the team's interim general manager.[2]

The 2022 CFL Draft is scheduled to take place in the spring of 2022.[3] The Redblacks will have nine selections in the eight-round draft if territorial selections are featured again.[4] The team is scheduled to have the second selection in each round of the draft after finishing second-last in the 2021 league standings.[5]
