The 2025 World Athletics Championships will be the twentieth edition of the World Athletics Championships.

Host selection

Several countries in Africa as well as Australia have expressed interest in hosting the championships.[1] World Athletics President Sebastian Coe has stated consideration of Kenya for 2025.[2][3] Kenya confirmed its bid for the championships in October 2021.[4] Also Japan has allegedly entered a bid.[5]
