Critical reception
On September 30, 2021, Philip Jennelle posted on his YouTube channel a video review of the album giving it extremely positive and rave reviews, showing his CD copy of the album along with the four remix singles from the album, telling their released dates, and was quoted as saying "After the phenomenal success of her previous album, Inner Child in late-1991 this album should've taken her to the next level", and on a scale of 1 to 10 he gave the album 10 stars and stated "I'm head over heels for it". He then went on blaming various different music sources and was furious with music critics, music magazines, and certain music sites, however he didn't name them since he felt they had rights to privacy. And was also quoted saying "The album has continued to be stepped on, over-looked, and criticized harshly". He also said how much he really loves the album very much.
