The 80th parallel south is a circle of latitude that is 80 degrees south of the Earth's equatorial plane.

The parallel passes only through Antarctica and Antarctic ice shelves.
This is the final parallel south before the 90th parallel south (South Pole) as the 81st-89th parallels of longitude are unsigned. If those parallels latitude were signed, they would either only be on Antarctica & Antarctic ice shelves, or just Antarctica.
