Principal photography began on 1 March 2018 in Ayroor, Ranni, Kerala.[3] Filming in Kerala was completed by early April 2018. The remaining shoots were completed in the Wadi Rum deserts of Jordan by May 2020.

Prithviraj, Blessy and team went to Jordan for the shooting of the film in March 2020 and was shortly after suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The department of Non Resident Keralites Affairs (NORKA) on 03 April 2020 approached the Indian embassy in Jordan to enquire about film crew stranded in the country amid the coronavirus lockdown. The embassy contacted the filmmakers and inquired about the well-being of the crew. As the film crew decided to stay on for the shoot, the embassy has assured the state government's assistance for the crew in every manner possible.[4][5]

Filming is expected to continue through December 2021 and beyond, including schedules in Jordan and India.[6]

Music

The film score and soundtrack are composed by A. R. Rahman.

The recording for the Vijay Yesudas track has been completed already. [7]
