Life and career

Born in Belgrade on March 11, 1983, she began her music career as a member of the less-known dance-pop group called Energija, with whom she released three albums.[1] In 2006, Kokić acquired popularity with her solo debut release Mojne mala (Girl, Don't) under Grand Production, which included several stand out hits. The following year, she also saw commercial success with her second album, titled Šta će meni ime... (Why Do I Need a Name), selling 200,000 copies. In 2011, Kokić made a comeback with her third record, Psiho (Psycho), featuring a duet with Romanian MC Costi Ioniță, called "Idemo na sve" (We Go for Everything).

She additionally received wide attention for winning the first series of Serbian television show Tvoje lice zvuči poznato in 2013.[2]

Ana Kokić has two daughters with former husband, water polo player Nikola Rađen.[3]
