Austrian gymnast Julius Lenhart won two gold medals and one silver medal, making him the most successful Austrian competitor ever at the Summer Olympic Games. Some references from the International Olympic Committee credit Lenharts medals to the United States as he immigrated to America and was representing his Philadelphia-based club, but other parts of their database regard him as Austrian.[1]
