Bělá (Opava District)
Bělá (formerly Bílov, German: Bilau, Polish: Biała) is a village in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic, located in the north-eastern part of the country, close to the border with Poland. It is part of micro-region Hlučínsko. It has around 700 inhabitants.

History
The first written mention of the village was in 1349.
During the German occupation (World War II), the occupiers operated the E116 forced labour subcamp of the Stalag VIII-B/344 prisoner-of-war camp in the village.[2]
