Bheeshma Parvam

Bheeshma Parvam is an upcoming Indian Malayalam-language period crime drama film directed by Amal Neerad and jointly written by Devadath Shaji and Amal Neerad, starring Mammootty with an ensemble supporting cast.[1] Anend C Chandran is the cinematographer of the film, Sushin Shyam is in charge of the music department and Vivek Harshan is the editor.[2][3]

Premise

Bheeshmavardhan is a former gangster turned marine exporter from Fort Kochi. Ensuing a series of unfortunate events and death threats to his family, he is forced to revisit his past.

Development

Mammootty and Amal Neerad were originally supposed to collaborate for the sequel to Big B. The film, however, was put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic as several scenes were to be shot abroad. The two subsequently teamed up for Bheeshma Parvam. Bheehsma parvam is the reunion of Amal Neerad and Mammootty after 14 years. The film is produced by director Amal Neerad himself. [18]

Filming

On 21 February 2021, principal photography began in Kochi and Alappuzha.[19]

Music

The film score is been composed by Sushin Shyam.
