Big Brother 2021, also known as BB2021, is the seventh season of the Portuguese version of the reality show Big Brother, which premiered on 12 September 2021 on TVI.[1]

Season chronology

Applications for the season were open on 15 June 2021. The grand prize is €100,000, doubled from the previous two regular seasons.

On 10 September 2021, it was announced that the main live shows would be hosted by Manuel Luís Goucha and Cláudio Ramos.[2]

Notes
  • ^Note 1 :   António won the power to nominate during premiere night by being the first to press the button in the garden. Later in the night, a second button was placed in the garden, which Ricardo pressed, thus winning the power to nominate as well.
  • ^Note 2 :   Débora bought immunity from the nominations using €1,000 of the final prize money.
  • ^Note 3 : Yeniffer (for being the winner of a challenge), Rafael and Ricardo (for both being chosen by leader Rui P.), won the "double vote" advantage in the nominations.
  • ^Note 4 :   Unbeknownst to the housemates, Bruno pressed the Panic button, thus winning a secret immunity from the nominations. As result, leader Rui P.'s automatic nomination on him was voided and Rui B. was nominated as his replacement.
  • ^Note 5 :   This week featured a double eviction. Lourenço, as the housemate who received the fewest votes from the public, was immediately evicted, while Aurora and Rui B., faced a Leader's eviction vote. Leader Rui P. chose Rui B. to be evicted.
  • ^Note 6 :   Ana M. faced a series of dilemmas offered by Big Brother, which resulted in Ana B. winning the "double vote" advantage in the nominations, Rafael being chosen to be automatically nominated for eviction and Ana M. herself winning €10,000 of the final prize money.
  • ^Note 7 :   Fábio (for being chosen by leader Yeniffer) and Rui P. (for being chosen by leader Ricardo), won a secret immunity from the nominations. As result, each nomination they received was voided and the housemate who nominated them would got the nomination point instead.
  • ^Note 8 :   Unbeknownst to the housemates, Rui P. pressed the Panic button, thus winning a secret immunity from the nominations. As he was already immune for being chosen by leader Ricardo, this power was wasted and had no effect in the nominations.
