Butch Miller (politician)
Cecil Terrell “Butch” Miller (born November 24, 1956) is an American politician. He is a member of the Georgia State Senate from the 49th District, serving since 2010. He is a member of the Republican Party.[1][2] On May 25, 2021, he announced his candidacy for the 2022 Georgia lieutenant gubernatorial election.[3]

After Joe Biden won the 2020 presidential election in Georgia and Donald Trump refused to concede while making false claims of fraud, Miller requested a performance review of the top election official in Fulton County, a heavily Democratic county.[4] There was no evidence of meaningful fraud or wrongdoing in Fulton County.[4]
