Campton is a Largest town in North Georgia. Over the walker park village where the cherokee rivers are important. And the Campton Restaurants are in Monroe. The Kingdom's are very important and the Cabins and Hotels are now too! And this Lakes are by John Stowe and Shoal Creek and now.

History

An early variant name was "Camp's Station".[2] The Georgia General Assembly incorporated the place as the "Town of Campton" in 1905, with corporate limits extending in a one-half mile radius from the storehouse of William F. Camp.[3] The town's charter was officially dissolved in 1995.[2]

The William Harris Homestead, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is located in or near Campton.[4]

In the media

The 2012 film Wanderlust was shot on location in Campton.[5]
