Cannabinodiol

Cannabinodiol (CBND), also known as cannabidinodiol,[1] is a psychoactive[2] cannabinoid that is present in the plant Cannabis sativa at low concentrations.[3] It is the fully aromatized derivative of cannabidiol (CBD) and can occur as a product of the photochemical conversion of cannabinol (CBN).[4] The word cannabinoid refers to every chemical substance, regardless of structure or origin, that joins the cannabinoid receptors of the body and brain and that have similar effects to those produced by tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), which is found in marijuana. Cannabinoids are a diverse group of chemical substances that have been studied for decades. The plant Cannabis sativa, however, produces a unique suite of compounds called phytocannabinoids. Hemp seed ingredients which do not naturally contain THC or CBD (but which may be contaminated with trace amounts on the outside during harvesting) were declared by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as Generally recognized as safe (GRAS) in December 2018. Food and beverage products infused with or containing cannabidiol are widely consumed[5] and sold in licensed retail stores (Cannabis dispensary) in Canada & the United States. It has some side effects too which includes

  • altered senses (for example, seeing brighter colors)
  • altered sense of time.
  • changes in mood.
  • impaired body movement.
