Craig Hoy
Craig William Hoy[1] is a Scottish Conservative Party politician. He has been a Member of the Scottish Parliament (MSP) for the South Scotland region since the election in May 2021.[2]

He also stood in East Lothian.[3] He is a member of the East Lothian Council, representing the Haddington and Lammermuir ward,[4] having been elected in a by-election in 2019.[5] He is the Scottish Conservatives' Shadow Minister for social care and mental health.[6][7]
He is a member of the Scottish Parliament's Delegated Powers and Law Reform Committee and the Public Audit Committee.
Hoy contested the East Lothian seat in the 2019 United Kingdom general election, where he finished third.[8] He is a former journalist,[5] having worked for the BBC and was a cofounder of Holyrood magazine.[9][10] He became a Managing Director of Dods, the political intelligence, media, events and training company.
Hoy lives in East Lothian.
