Dan Vîlceanu

Dan Vîlceanu (born February 5, 1979) is a Romanian deputy, elected in 2016. On 18 August 2021, he was sworn in as Minister of Finance in the PNL-led Cîțu cabinet.[2]

Between 2006 and 2009 Dan Vîlceanu was the leader of the Gorj branch of Social Democratic Youth (Romania) (Romanian: Tineretul Social Democrat, TSD), the youth organisation of the Social Democratic Party (PSD) of Romania).[3]

Dan Vîlceanu joined the Democratic Liberal Party (Romanian: Partidul Democrat-Liberal, PDL) and served as General Secretary of PDL Gorj (2011–2012), first deputy chairman of PDL Gorj (2012–2013), chairman of PDL Gorj (2013–2015) and (after the merger with the National Liberal Party) co-chairman/chairman of PNL Gorj National Liberal Party (Romania) (Romanian: Partidul Național Liberal, PNL) respectively since 2015.[4]
