Darsamand
Darsamand is a big village in tehsil tall under district Hangu. According to one survey Darsamand village is one of the biggest village on whole Pakistan as its boundaries starts from Jawar Ghudi till Mamo Banda and surroundings and union council of Hangu District in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan.[1] It is located at 33°26'16N 70°39'48E and has an altitude of 889 metres (2919 feet).[2]

There was an old railway station at Darsamand Jandhi but it is no longer in use.
People of Darsamand are very respectful, brave and living in unity. Most of Darsamand people are from Bangash tribe. The first teacher from Darsamand village in 1932 was Malak Nawab Khan (ماسٹر نواب خان بنگش) and later his son Malak Abdur Rashid khan Bangash (رشید استاذ) teaches their own people with very less tuition fee. Their sons and grandsons got good education even at their worst financial position from 1990 till 2004. Later on, in 2004 Master Nawab khan grandson Mr Salem Romaan Bangash got 1st position in Master degree from Quaid e Azam college of commerce University of Peshawar.
