Denys Demyanenko

Denys Anatoliyovych Demyanenko (Ukrainian: Денис Анатолійович Дем'яненко; born 5 July 2000) is a professional Ukrainian football striker who plays for Desna Chernihiv.[1]

Career

Born in Kyiv, Demyanenko is a product of the local Atlet youth sportive school system.[2]

In September 2018, he signed a deal with the Premier League club Desna Chernihiv, the main team in the city of Chernihiv. Here he played for Desna-2 Chernihiv, where he played 35 matches and scored 7 goals.[3]

He also made his debut with the senior team in Ukrainian Premier League on 26 February 2021, playing as the second half-time substituted player in a home winning match against FC Inhulets Petrove.[4][5] On 18 July 2021 he played in a friendly match against Veres Rivne at the Stadium Yuvileinyi in Bucha ended ended 2-0 for Desna.[6] On 22 August 2021 he was in the bench, included in the team against Dynamo Kyiv in Ukrainian Premier League at the Valeriy Lobanovskyi Dynamo Stadium.[7] On 15 November 2021 he played against Olimpik Donetsk in the friendly match at the Bannikov Stadium in Kyiv, replacing Vladlen Yurchenko at the 70 minutes.[8][9][10]

Personal life

Denys is a son of a Ukrainian football coach and former football defender Anatoliy Demyanenko.[2]
