Dice (Flow song)

DICE is FLOW's thirty seventh single. Its A-side was used as the opening theme song for 15th anniversary rebroadcast of the 2006 anime series Code Geass: Lellouch of the Rebellion. The single has two editions: limited and limited one-time. The limited one-time edition includes a bonus Blu-ray.[1]

Overview

The first revealed song from this single is "Moment" (モメント), performed for the first time in the final leg of FLOW's monthly streaming live series Flame of 12 Months held on August 26, 2021 in Sai-no-Kuni Saitama Arts Theater.[2] The song was featured in the slot machine game Pachislot ANEMONE: Eureka Seven HI-EVOLUTION.[3]

"DICE" was used as the first opening theme song for 15th anniversary rebroadcast of the 2006 anime series Code Geass: Lellouch of the Rebellion. It was aired for the first time in FLOW's radio series "FLOW no Manzoku Radio!" on September 21, 2021.[4] The song was produced with Koichi Tsutaya who was contributed on FLOW's works in the past, such as "Around the world" and "COLORS".[5] The full version of the song was released in each subscription service at the same day with the airing of Code Geass: Lellouch of the Rebellion first episode on October 2, 2021.

In the collaboration with smartphone rhythm game BanG Dream! Girls Band Party!, FLOW collaborated with Afterglow for the song "COLORS" and the new original song "Yūshō" (優勝, lit. "Winner"). "Yūshō" will be playable in the game for limited time from December 11, 2021 to January 10, 2022. To commemorate the collaboration, a special dialog by Ayane Sakura who voiced Afterglow vocalist, Ran Mitake with Kohshi and Keigo will be uploaded on Bandori Channel☆ on December 11.[6] This collaboration also marked Kohshi and Keigo as the first male vocal in BanG Dream! franchise.
