Dombivli
Dombivli (Pronunciation: [ɖoːmbiʋliː]) is a city located near Mumbai in the Thane district of Maharashtra state, India. It is part of Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR).[1]list

Geography
Dombivli is located at 19.218433°N 73.086718°E. It has an average elevation of 13.534 meters (44.403 feet). The land here is rough and rocky by nature.
The climate is warm and humid. The average annual temperature is 26.7 °C (80.1 °F).[2]
Transportation
Dombivli is served by Mumbai Suburban railway network, i.e. it lies on the main line of the central section of Mumbai suburban railway network. Built in 1886, it is one of the busiest stations on the Central line and witnesses a footfall of more than 300 thousand commuters daily.[3][4] Though none of the long journey express trains halt here, it is well connected to Mumbai and Navi Mumbai through Thane. Though during rush hours the station is an unacceptably over-crowded affair.[5] Distance between Dombivli and Thane is 25 km (16 mi).Distance between CSTM and Dombivali is 50 km (31 mi).
Specialties
- Residents of the town celebrate a number of festivals with great enthusiasm.
- Navavarsha Shobha Yatra is the most prominent one out of these festivals, which is celebrated on the first day of the Hindu New Year.
- Phadke road is considered to be one of the buzzing road in entire Dombivli and is known to be place for youth to assemble and hang out.
- Some of the well known temples in the town include Gaon Devi Mandir, Ganpati Mandir.
- Several artists can also be found in the town with many people with interest in music, dance, drama, theater etc.
- Thakur Vada Pav, Gajanan Vada Pav and Mum Mun Misal are a few famous cousines in Dombivli
- Dombivli is busiest local railway station on entire Central line
