Extreme Witchcraft is the upcoming fourteenth studio album by American indie rock band Eels, scheduled to be released through E Works/PIAS Recordings on January 28, 2022.[2] It was preceded by the single "Good Night on Earth". The album will be supported by the 2022 Lockdown Hurricane world tour.[3]

Background

Everett co-produced the album with John Parish, with whom he last worked on Souljacker in 2001. Everett called the "most polite person I've ever met. But when he gets into the studio he becomes a mad scientist. If you make music with John Parish, you get stuff no one else does. He has a really unique toolbox and musical outlook. Perhaps his politeness is a coping mechanism to keep Mr. Hyde under control when he's out of his laboratory."[4]
