Facundo Torres
Facundo Daniel Torres Pérez (born 13 April 2000) is a Uruguayan professional footballer who plays as a forward for Peñarol and the Uruguay national team.[1]

Club career
A youth academy product of Peñarol, Torres made his professional debut on 16 August 2020 in a 2–0 win against Boston River.[2] He came on as a 46th minute substitute for Matías de los Santos and scored his team's opening goal five minutes later.[3]
International career
Torres is a former Uruguayan youth international. He was part of Uruguay squad which finished as runners-up at 2015 South American U-15 Championship.[4] He is the all-time top scorer of under-17 national team and has played at 2017 South American U-17 Championship.[5]
On 5 March 2021, Torres was named in Uruguay senior team's 35-man preliminary squad for 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches against Argentina and Bolivia.[6] However, CONMEBOL suspended those matches next day amid concern over the COVID-19 pandemic.[7]
He made his debut on 3 June 2021 in a World Cup qualifier against Paraguay. He substituted Jonathan Rodríguez in the 66th minute.[8]
