Faiz Hameed
Lieutenant General Faiz Hameed HI(M) is a three-star ranking general in the Pakistan Army. He was commissioned in Baloch regiment and served as the 24th Director-General of the spy agency Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).[1][2] From April to June 2019, he was Adjutant General at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. He had previously served as head of the counter intelligence wing of the ISI[3] and currently serving as Commander XI Corps Peshawar since 20 November 2021.[4]

Personal life
Faiz was born in a Punjabi family where his hometown is the village of Latifal in the Chakwal District, Punjab, Pakistan. He has also remained General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 16 infantry division stationed at Pano Akil Cantonment. [5]
