Federico Gatti

Federico Gatti (born 24 June 1998) is an Italian footballer who plays as a defender for Serie B club Frosinone.

Career

Gatti started his football career in the youth squad at Alessandria football club.[1] He then moved to Promozione side A.S.D. Pavarolo in the 2015–16 season, helping the team win the Coppa Italia Promozione and gaining promotion to Eccellenza.[2] Gatti moved to Saluzzo[2] in 216, but returned to Pavarolo a year later where he changed his dominant position from midfielder to defender.[1] In 2018, Gatti moved to Verbania winning the Eccellenza.[1] The following season (2019-20) he scored three goals in 22 matches with his side in Serie D. In 2020, he moved to Serie C side Pro Patria making 35 appearances. Gatti moved to Frosinone in 2021. Gatti made his debut for Frosinone on 15 August, in the Coppa Italia first round match against Venezia drawn 1–1 where he missed a penalty in the penalty shoot-outs.[3]
