Description
The species grows as a compact shrub to about 0.5–2 m in height. The leaves are 20–130 mm long by 1–10 mm wide. The conflorescent flowers are dark red, rarely green and brown. It flowers in winter and spring.[1]
Distribution and habitat
The species is native to the Central Coast region of New South Wales, where it grows on sandy soils in dry sclerophyll woodland or forest, or swampy heath, usually on Hawkesbury sandstone.[1]
