Higher Education, Archives and Libraries Department (KPk)

Higher Education, Archives and Libraries Department, commonly known as Higher Education Department or HED, is a department of Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa responsible for education, learning and related services for students, as well as teaching and non-teaching staff, serving in public and private higher education institutions in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Currently department administer Directorate of Higher Education, Directorate of Archives & Libraries and Directorate of Commerce and Management Education.[1] Kamran Khan Bangash is currently heading department as Special Assistant to CM KPK.[2]
