Hindu Temple of Delaware
The Hindu Temple of Delaware is the first Hindu temple constructed in Delaware. Located in the Philadelphia metropolitan area, it was inaugurated in 2002. Its mission is to "cater(s) to the religious, cultural and educational needs of a growing population of Indian families (6000+) in the tri-state area."[1][2]

The temple's main deity is Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth, fortune, power, beauty and prosperity.[1] In 2020, the largest Hanuman statue in the United States was installed in it.[3][4]
