The Indigenous Authorities of Colombia (Spanish: Autoridades Indígenas de Colombia) is a progressive indigenist political party in Colombia.

History
The oral tradition arises in the southwest of Colombia with the unification of the Guambianos and Pastos peoples, in the departments of Cauca and Nariño under the defense and conception of Major Law, the recovery of the territory, the defense of the titles awarded by the crown called (Amparos, possessions, provisions, royal cedula, obedience, decrees, and agreements of our reservations of colonial origin), as original title of collective territorial property.
In 1978 the Organization of Indigenous Authorities of the South West Colombian, AISO, in 1987 until today it takes the name of Movement of Indigenous Authorities of Colombia AICO, made up of councils and / or indigenous authorities of a large part of the Colombian territory, in 1990, at Once the National Constituent Assembly is convened, AICO decides to express itself as a movement of a social and political nature. Thus achieving participation in the decisions of the Nation."
