Insidious: The Dark Realm

Insidious: The Dark Realm is an upcoming American supernatural horror film written by Scott Teems and directed by Patrick Wilson in his directorial debut.[1] It stars Ty Simpkins, Lin Shaye, Patrick Wilson, Spencer Locke and Caitlin Gerard. It is the fifth installment in the Insidious franchise. The film will take place 10 years after the events of Insidious: Chapter 2.[2][3]

In October 2020, it was announced Patrick Wilson would direct the film from a screenplay by Scott Teems, with James Wan, Oren Peli, Leigh Whannell and Jason Blum set to produce under Blumhouse Productions banner.[4]

Release

The film is scheduled to be released in 2022 by Sony Pictures.[5]
