Jonathan Esparza
Jonathan Alonzo Esparza (born July 9, 1999) is an American - Mexican soccer player who plays as a defender for Chattanooga Red Wolves SC in USL League One. Esparza made his professional soccer debut for Alebrijes de Oaxaca on July 25 2018, starting in a 2-0 loss against fellow Liga de Expansión MX club Atlético Morelia. On January 21 2021, Esparza joined American USL League One team Chattanooga Red Wolves SC with a 10 month and 9 day contract till November 30, 2021. This move meant he would play in America for the first time in his professional career, as he had previously only played for Mexican clubs. [1]
