Koenigsegg Gemera

The Gemera is the first four-seater car built by Koenigsegg and the first to be powered by a compact engine. (Bore 95 mm X Stroke 93.5 mm) 662.75 cc and 202.77 PS per cylinder 305.95 PS/litre. Power comes from a 1988.25 cc Koenigsegg Tiny Friendly Giant (TFG) three-cylinder with 2 turbochargers camless piston engine driving the front wheels, rated at 522 kW (700 hp; 710 PS) at 7500 rpm, red line at 8500 rpm and 600 N⋅m (443 lb⋅ft) of torque from 2000 rpm to 7000 rpm, as well as three electric motors One for each rear wheel with 500 bhp and 1000 Nm each and one E-motor on the crankshaft 400 bhp and 500 Nm to power the front wheels (together with the ICE) (two at the rear and one at the front), with a combined peak output of 1,268 kW (1,700 hp; 1,724 PS) and 3,500 N⋅m (2,581 lb⋅ft) of torque.[6] Max wheel torque: 11,000 Nm at ICE 4000 rpm • 1100 bhp of combined electric power (counting E-motors separately – 1400 bhp) The given combined peak output is produced when the engine runs on E85 fuel. The engine uses a system of solenoids to activate the intake and exhaust valves instead of conventional camshafts. The engine also features cylinder deactivation with which it is claimed to be 20 percent more fuel efficient than a typical four-cylinder engine of the same displacement. According to Koenigsegg, the combustion engine weighs only 70 kg (150 lb).[7]

The range on the 54 MJ (15 kWh) battery pack is claimed to be 50 km (31 mi) and while in hybrid mode the range extends to 1,000 km (621 mi). The engine can run on both E85 bio fuel and gasoline and has a titanium exhaust system manufactured by Akrapovič.

Being the first all-wheel-drive model, the Gemera has all-wheel steering and torque vectoring. In line with other Koenigsegg models, the chassis has a carbon fibre monocoque with aluminium sub-structures. The car features electronically adjustable ride height.

The main design feature of the Gemera is the lack of a B-pillar and two large dihedral doors which open forward to allow easier access to the leather upholstered four-seater cabin. Creature comforts include four heated and four cooled cup-holders, driver assistance systems, four touchscreens (two 13-inch central touchscreens along with two additional screens for the side and rear view cameras), infotainment system for the front and rear passengers, front and rear wireless phone chargers, Apple CarPlay, Wi-Fi connection, a three-zone climate system, electrically adjustable seats and a premium audio system with 11 speakers. Koenigsegg announced that production will be limited to 300 cars.[8][9]

The Gemera has a claimed top speed of 400 km/h (249 mph) and accelerates from 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 1.9 seconds. In electric mode, the car can attain a top speed of 300 km/h (186 mph).[4][5][9]
