List of gangs in Canada

This article lists the notable gangs, security threat groups, criminal enterprises and related syndicates which participate in organized crime within various parts of Canada. Some of these organizations are based elsewhere (in other countries), but have members, chapters and/or operations set up in Canada.

  • Dhaliwal Crime Family - Operating from Vaughan, Ontario and across Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area by a family originally from Malton, Mississauga; the Dhaliwal crime family has been raided three times, first in 1998 for running a $16 million organized crime group engaged in everything from armed robberies to importing cocaine and heroin, extortion, warm-up thefts of cars, arms trafficking, fraud, contract killing and kidnapping rival traffickers, police alleged.[145][146][147][148]
  • Independent Soldiers Gang - Predominantly, although not exclusively Punjabi gang (Apart of the Wolfpack Gang Alliance)[149][150][151][152][153]
  • Malhi-Buttar Coalition - (Apart of the Wolfpack Gang Alliance)[154][155][156][157]
  • Punjabi mafia – Organized crime families alleged to control the Independent Soldiers gang and the crimes the gang commits across British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec. (Apart of the Wolfpack Gang Alliance)[158][159][160][161][162]
  • Sanghera crime family - "Mid-level" crime family under the Dhak group and Duhre groups "Union"[163][164]
