Lovro Zvonarek

Lovro Zvonarek (born 8 May 2005) is a Croatian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Prva HNL club Slaven Belupo, on loan from Bayern Munich.

Career

Zvonarek joined the youth academy of Slaven Belupo in 2016, at the age of 11,[2] coming from Mladost Prelog.[3] He made his professional debut with Slaven in a 2–0 Prva HNL loss to Rijeka on 12 May 2021.[4] He scored the only goal in his second appearance, a 1–0 win over Varaždin on 22 May 2021; at 16 years and 14 days old, he became the youngest ever scorer in the Prva HNL taking the record from Alen Halilović.[5]

On 30 August 2021, Bayern Munich had agreed to sign Zvonarek for a reported fee of €1.8 million, although he will remain on loan with Slaven Belupo through the season. He will reportedly join the Bayern Munich U19 during the 2021–22 season.[6][7]

International career

Zvonarek is a youth international for Croatia, having represented the Croatia U15s and U16s.[8]
