Lulu International Shopping Mall

LuLu Mall Kochi is a shopping mall located in Edappally Kochi, Kerala. Promoted by the Abu Dhabi based EMKE Group, the Lulu Mall has an area of 2.5 million sq ft for shopping, leisure and entertainment. Nearly 300 national and international brands have their outlets in the Lulu Mall.[3] With an average daily footfall of more than 80,000, it is one of the most visited places in Kerala.[4] Spanning 17 acres (6.9 ha), it has 68,000 sq. m. of gross building area with a total retail space of 57,600 sq. m. [5] The mall was opened in March 2013.[6] It contains more than 225 outlets, including food courts, restaurants, family entertainment zones, a multiplex, ice skating rink, gaming arena, Beauty parlours, a toy train joy ride and bowling alley.[1][7][8][9] Multiple events are usually conducted in the main atrium. The estimated cost for this project is more than ₹16 billion or US$250 million.[10] The property is owned and managed by Yusuff Ali M.A. Chairman and Managing Director of Lulu Group International. LuLu Mall in Kochi was their maiden retail venture in India.
