Madurai Muthu

Madurai Muthu[1] is an Indian television presenter, standup comedian and comedy actor. He was born on 19 September 1979 in Tirumangalam, Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India.

Career

Muthu has performed shows almost in 80 countries and managed almost 1500 stage shows in Tamil Nadu.

He also starred in TV shows such as "Kalakka Povathu Yaaru" on Star Vijay TV for approx 51 weeks, "Asatha Povathu Yaaru?" for almost 210 weeks, "Sunday Galata" for 298 weeks and "Comedy Junction" for 301 weeks. Furthermore, he was won both the Kalakka Povathu Yaaru and Asatha Povathu Yaaru TV shows which are aired on Star Vijay.

For his appearance, he took more than 25 prizes that include the Chinna Kalaivanar Award and the Nagaichuvai Chakravarthi. He also starred in almost 15 movies, and he has performed as a judge for contests.

Personal life

His father's name is Ramasamy and his mother’s name is Muthuirulaye. He has one brother named Pandi and one sister named Vasantha. His wife's name is Neethi who is his second wife. She is a dentist and the best friend of his first wife Lekha. His first wife died.

He completed his school education and college education in his home town.
