About

Guglielmo Marconi online university, which is recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education, was originally promoted by the Tertium Foundation, a consortium formed by "Cassa di Risparmio di Roma", the InterUniversity consortium FOR.COM “Formazione per la Comunicazione”, WIND Telecomunicazioni, "Cassa di Risparmio di Bologna" and CARISBO, NTA Srl, in Rome, Italy.

The organization also founded Marconi International University in Miami, Florida (miuniversity.edu), which was later sold to Grupo PROEDUCA.

Despite being an online school, Marconi University also has a campus in Rome, located in the Prati neighborhood, consisting of administrative offices, the studios, and the majority of the university facilities.
