Matteo Polisi (born 15 April 1998) is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for Pacific FC.

Early life

Polisi was born in Coquitlam, British Columbia.[1] He began playing soccer in 2002 with local club Coquitlam Metro-Ford.[2]

In 2011, Polisi joined the academy of Major League Soccer side Vancouver Whitecaps FC.[2] In 2016, he switched to the academy of American club Portland Timbers.[3]

In 2017, Polisi began attending Simon Fraser University, where he played varsity soccer in the NCAA.[3] While at SFU, he played for TSS FC Rovers in USL League Two in the summer.[4]

On 25 February 2021, Polisi signed his first professional contract with Canadian Premier League side Pacific FC.[1] On 26 June 2021, Polisi made his debut as a substitute in a 2–0 win over HFX Wanderers.[5]
