Ministry of Information (Syria)
The Ministry of Information (Arabic: وزارة الإعلام) is a government ministry office of the Syrian Arab Republic responsible for media, press and informations.[1]

Organisation
The Ministry of Information was created in the Syrian Arab Republic based on Legislative Decree No. 186 (1961) regarding the creation and updates of the Ministry of Information. And the provisions of the Basic Law for State Workers No. 1 of 1985, especially paragraph (b) of Article 4 of it. And Resolution No. 147 dated 25/10/1986 approving the bylaws of the Ministry of Information.
