Controversy
In April 2020, Dawar tried to downplay the seriousness of the coronavirus claiming in a village that corona was "nothing" and only a "way of making money" , remarks which have raised serious concerns as those could easily misguide the people living in the tribal region. Dawar also criticized Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government for establishing quarantine centres in educational institutions.[6][7][8]
