It was also known as Highway Patrol.
Plot
Two LAPD motorcycle officers respond to a report of a traffic accident and find a pedestrian was killed by a hit and run driver. After detectives take over the investigation, they determine the death of the pedestrian was related to a stolen car ring. An LAPD academy recruit volunteers to go undercover into the stolen car ring as a car thief from Chicago to collect evidence. Eventually the members of the stolen car ring find out he is a police officer.
