Noel King (broadcast journalist)

Noel King is a co-host and editorial director of the podcast and radio show Today Explained for Vox. She has been working in radio since 2004, starting in Khartoum as a freelance journalist for the Voice of America.[1] She also worked for Public Radio International's The World,[2] and was a correspondent for the Planet Money podcast. She was one of the hosts of NPR's Morning Edition and Up First from 2018 to her final broadcast on December 10, 2021.[3][4] Noel is a graduate of Brown University, and comes from Kerhonkson, New York.[5]
