Papua New Guinea Defence Force ranks
Papua New Guinea military ranks are the military ranks of the Papua New Guinea Defence Force and are largely based on those of the United Kingdom.[1][2][3]

Higher flag ranks and ceremonial ranks
Appointments to general officer and flag officer ranks were until recently[4] only ceremonial, for the head of state and members of the royal family.[5]
