Pisaasu II

Pisaasu II (lit. 'Pishacha'; English: Phantom) is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language gothic horror film written and directed by Mysskin and produced by T Murugananantham under the banner of Rockfort Entertainment. The film stars Andrea Jeremiah in lead role. With Poorna, Rajkumar Pitchumani, Santhosh Prathap and Ajmal Ameer in the supporting roles. The film is the sequel of the director's 2014 film Pisaasu.[1] Actor Vijay Sethupathi plays a cameo role with Karthik Raja as the composer.[2]

After Mysskin left the project Thupparivaalan 2 due to creative differences and financial issues,[5][6] he announced the sequel to his successful film Pisaasu as his next project.[1] Andrea Jeremiah was the first actor to sign the film, reportedly set in early 90s.[7] On October 5, 2020, Mysskin shared a picture on his Twitter account, where he is seen engrossed in writing the screenplay.[8] The film completed its second schedule in a forest region.[9] Actor Santhosh Prathap was signed to play an important role to be filmed in the final schedule.[4] The cast and crew of the film wrapped up the complete shoot on 1 September, 2021.[10]
