Roy Lopez (American football)
Roy Jacob Lopez[1] (born August 7, 1997) is an American football defensive tackle for the Houston Texans of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Arizona and was drafted by the Texans in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft.[2]

College career
Lopez was ranked as a second–star recruit by 247Sports.com coming out of high school.[3] He committed to New Mexico State on August 23, 2016.[4] He transferred to Arizona on July 19, 2020.[5]
Professional career
Lopez was drafted by the Houston Texans in the sixth round with the 195th pick of the 2021 NFL Draft on May 1, 2021.[6] On May 12, 2021, Lopez officially signed with the Texans.[7]
