SGI IRIS
The SGI IRIS series is a line of terminals and workstations from Silicon Graphics built in the 1980s.
Models
The early systems up to IRIS 3000[1] use the Motorola 68000 family of processors originally, and later models feature early-generation MIPS processors.
Former line
The first IRIS 1000 (DEC PDP visualization terminals) were shipped around Nov 1983.
The workstation 1400 model (also known as the "IRIS Workstation")[2] were shipped only in a 1984.
