Saint-Pois

Saint-Pois (French pronunciation: [sɛ̃ pwa]) is a commune in the Manche department in Normandy in north-western France. We note civilians from the World War II fighting in Mortain, just to the south seeking refuge in Saint-Pois (August 1944). Mortain was the final battle for Normandy.
