Shiranthi Rajapaksa
Shiranthi Wickremesinghe Rajapaksa (Sinhala: ශිරන්ති රාජපක්ෂ, Tamil: ஷிராந்தி விக்கிரமசிங்க ராஜபக்ஷ) (born 23 January 1953) is a Sri Lankan Child Psychologist who was the First Lady of Sri Lanka from 2005 to 2015. She is married to Mahinda Rajapaksa.

Education
Shiranthi Rajapaksa completed her primary and secondary education at Holy Family Convent, Colombo.
Family
In 1983, she married Mahinda Rajapaksa. The couple has three sons. Namal is a current Member of Parliament for Hambantota District and he is also the Minister of Sports and Youth affairs, making him the youngest cabinet minister in the Sri Lankan Cabinet of 2020 while his brother Yoshitha was commissioned as an Acting Sub Lieutenant in the Sri Lanka Navy in March 2009 [1] appointed an Aide-de-camp to the President in 2006. He was also appointed Chief of Staff to Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa. Her youngest son is Rohitha Rajapaksa.
