Slobodan Kovač

Slobodan Kovač (Serbian Cyrillic: Слободан Ковач) (born 13 September 1967) is a Serbian volleyball coach and former volleyball player, 2000 Olympic Champion, current head coach of PGE Skra Bełchatów, PlusLiga.[1]

Career

As a coach

In 2014, he was appointed as a new head coach of the Iranian national volleyball team until the Olympic Games Rio 2016.[2] From 2010 to 2014, Kovač was a head coach of Italian team Sir Safety Perugia. In 2016, he became a new head coach of Halkbank Ankara.[3] In 2017, he was chosen as the new head coach of the Slovenian national volleyball team.[4][5]
