The Smallville Hotel

The Smallville Hotel is an urban design[1][2] 5-star hotel[3] strategically located in the midst of Beirut's eclectic residential neighborhood of Badaro.[4][5] This hotel is situated within close proximity to the National Museum and the Mim Museum . Other local attractions also within a walking distance are The Hippodrome and the Horsh Beirut. Opened in 2013, the hotel is famous[6] for its architecture and the guests it has hosted.[7]

Built-in 2013, The Smallville Hotel is located within walking distance of the Beirut National Museum. It is 10 km from Rafic Hariri Airport, Beirut Central District, Verdun and Hamra.[8] Many celebrities,[9][10] businessmen, and tourists[11] stay at the hotel, which is located in the center of the capital. The Smallville Hotel consists of 156 bedrooms, 39 suites, five meeting rooms, four restaurants, a lobby lounge, a bar, a garden area,[12] a rooftop, a panoramic heated rooftop swimming pool, fully equipped modern gym, SPA and massage center.[13][14][15]

Notable Events

The hotel hosts local and international festivals,[16] musical concerts,[17] conferences[18] and workshops regularly.[19][20][21] In 2018, it hosted a workshop for journalists held by Minister of Information Melhem Riachy.[22] In 2019, it hosted The Francophone University Agency in the Middle East that launched the regional Francophone literary prize Goncourt List, Choice of the Orient".[23][24][25]

Kitchen

The Smallville Hotel is known for its cuisine that combines tradition and modernity.[26] Sophia's Live Kitchen, the main Italian restaurant was named after Sophia Loren's 1971 Italian Cookbook.[27] The guest can enjoy French, European and Mediterranean meals at L'Atelier within 5 minutes walk of the venue.
