Plot
A man arrives in Barcelona fleeing justice. He takes refuge in a boarding house in Chinatown and falls in love with Pilar, the owner's niece. When a murder is committed in the neighborhood, suspicions fall on him because of his dark past. Pilar trusts his innocence and tries to defend him by seeking the truth, but circumstances seem to be going against him.
