Theertha Karaiyinile

Theertha Karaiyinile (transl.By the banks of the sacred river) is a 1987 Indian Tamil-language film, directed by Manivannan. The film stars Mohan and Rupini. The film had musical score by Ilaiyaraaja. The film was remade in Telugu as Varasudochadu.[2]

Reception

N. Krishnaswamy of The Indian Express called the film "well told".[6] Jayamanmadhan of Kalki, however, reviewed the film more negatively.[7]
